She holds a Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Media from Gerrit Rietveld Academie (2012) and primarily works with photography, light, and smoke in two-dimensional, sculptural, and spatial installations. She is inspired by fleeting moments and the contrast between the eternal and the ephemeral. Her work revolves around life's overlooked instances – the light through a window, a touch, a word that makes the world pause. She explores the boundary between dream and reality, where the everyday transforms into something elevated. Wickman examines relationships, belonging, and memory as a shifting force. Light and color play a central role in her practice – as physical phenomena and transformative agents. Since 2015, she has been a curator and member of Galleri CC in Malmö.
